The digitization and networking of production systems offers enormous growth potential for companies and will become increasingly important in the coming years. The resulting shift from closed to open cyber-physical systems means that production systems are also increasingly becoming the target of cyberattacks, which often cause considerable damage to the companies affected. In most cases, it is already difficult for companies to record their production systems and assess them in terms of cyber risks. Although there are standards and recommendations that address cyber security for production systems, these are either too general or overwhelm companies due to their extent. Therefore, the goal of this thesis is to systematically capture and assess cyber risks.
